DOES YOUR LIPSTICK CONTAIN LEAD???

I received this email the other day..and thought this was interesting..so I wanted to share it  ..along with my thoughts and feedback.

The lipstick brands that contain lead are:

 ESTEE LAUDER

 SHISEIDO

 RED EARTH (Lip Gloss)

 CHANEL (Lip Conditioner)

 MARKET AMERICA-MOTNES LIPSTICK.

 The higher the lead content,

 the greater the chance of causing cancer.

 After doing a test on lipsticks,

 it was found that the Y.S.L. Lipstick

contained the most amount of lead.

 Watch out for those lipsticks

 which are supposed to stay longer.

 If your lipstick stays longer, it is

because of the higher content of lead.

 Here is the test you can do yourself:

 1. Put some lipstick on your hand.

 2. Use a gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.

 3. If the lipstick color changes to black,

 then you know the lipstick contains lead.

High levels of Lead is said to cause major health problems as well as CANCER !!

2. Lightly feather in color with lip liner on the inside of lips. Smudge the inside color with finger-tips.

3. Using a lip brush apply lipstick to lips

4. Blot lips with a tissue ..then re-apply a second coat of lip color using lip brush.

Michael, Myself along with the rest of Michael Costello's

crew of assistants, Photographer, Hair Stylist, Model and a few close friends ....spent long hours finishing up a photo shoot for his official Photo Book for el paseo
Fashion Week.
Michael and two of his co-stars from this season's 
Project Runway will be debuting their first collections
since the shows finale.


The long hours and hard work spent ..was well worth it.
I can't wait till everybody sees the pictures..they are AMAZING!!!!
 I can personally tell you that Michael's collection
is by far the best you have ever seen from him.

HOW CAN I MAKE LARGE FACIAL PORES LESS VISIBLE?

IF YOU WANT LARGE PORES TO APPEAR LESS VISIBLE WITH YOUR MAKEUP APPLICATION... START WITH  A MAKEUP PRIMER UNDER YOUR FOUNDATION. A PRIMER WILL GIVE YOU MORE OF A SMOOTH TEXTURED EVEN APPERANCE AND WILL FILL IN LARGE PORES AND FINE LINES SO YOUR FACE IS A MUCH BETTER CANVAS FOR MAKEUP APPLICATIONS..  ..SMASHBOX, BENEFIT. and PHILOSOPHY HAVE GREAT PRIMERS.  FINISH OR SET YOUR FOUNDATION WITH A POWDER THAT DOESN'T CREASE OR SETTLE INTO FINE LINES OR LARGE FACIAL PORES..      EYE SHADOW SHADES AND APPLICATION ARE DETERMINED ON PERSONAL PREFERENCE .. ANY COLOR EYES CAN WEAR ANY COLOR EYE SHADOW AS LONG AS ITS APPLIED CORRECTLY AND BLENDED WELL.... BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN COLORS AND SHADES THAT DO FLATTER EYE COLOR AND SKIN TONE MORE THAN OTHERS.  
  
BLUE EYES:  
TAUPE, GREY, VIOLET. PURPLES,DEEP BLUES (DARKER BLUE THAN YOUR EYE COLOR)  
FUNKY FAVORITES: SILVER, TURQUOISE, FUSCHIA

GREEN / HAZEL EYES :
BROWNS, APRICOT, PLUMS. DEEP KHAKI AND FOREST GREEN
FUNKY FAVORITES: GOLD, LIME GREEN. BRIGHT PURPLE


BROWN EYES:

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO APPLY LIQUID FOUNDATION?

A.

I ALWAYS RECOMMEND USING A FOUNDATION BRUSH.

A FOUNDATION BRUSH GIVES YOU MORE OF AN EVEN SMOOTH AND BLENDED FOUNDATION APPLICATION.

IF YOU USE A MAKE UP SPONGE FOR YOUR APPLICATION.

YOU NEVER WANT TO APPLY LIQUID FOUNDATION DIRECTLY ONTO THE MAKEUP SPONGE ...YOU ARE WASTING MORE PRODUCT THEN YOU USE.. AND MOST LIKELY SPENDING ALOT MORE MONEY ON FOUNDATION THEN YOU SHOULD BE.

APPLY YOUR LIQUID FOUNDATION DIRECTLY ON YOUR FACE WITH FINGER TIPS FIRST THEN USE A MAKEUP SPONGE TO BLEND PRODUCT INTO SKIN.
